The Rivcore Story
Rivcore is led by owner-operators Ashleigh and Brodie, whose combined expertise spans deep hole drilling, soil testing, surveying and consultancy. What began as a shared passion evolved into a trusted partnership and the ambition to build something with greater purpose.
Guided by knowledge, experience and integrity, Rivcore approaches every project with a thoughtful and considered mindset. Their focus is on building genuine partnerships with clients, bringing back the care, honesty and professionalism that regional communities value most.
Ashleigh and Brodie remain hands-on in their work, taking time to understand each site and its unique conditions. Their measured approach and commitment to continual learning ensure outcomes defined by precision, reliability and long-term value. Leadership Team
Ashleigh Neil
Bachelor of Environmental Science (Land & Water) | AIG Member
Ashleigh’s career in drilling operations and earth sciences is shaped by a background in geotechnics and contaminated lands.
With knowledge in geotechnical site investigations, geotechnical laboratory testing and environmental sciences, Ashleigh drives Rivcore’s site assessment and geo-environmental service lines.
Ashleigh has experience in diamond drilling operations as a skilled operator. Along-side Brodie, Ash has worked on several unique, challenging and technical projects across NSW and Victoria.
Ashleigh has experience in both underground and surface drilling and has achieved her Certificate III in Drilling. Ashleigh is committed to working safely and ongoing professional learning and development and promoting the strengths of high achieving women in technical and leadership roles in the industry.
Brodie Barclay
Certificate IV Drilling Operations | Mining Supervisor S1, S2
Brodie has over 17 years experience in the drilling industry. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise surrounding diamond drilling and drilling operations to Rivcore.
We know we are in capable hands with Brodie on the levers or managing programs and safety outcomes- he is completing his Diploma in Drilling and holds appropriate tickets and licenses. Brodie’s technical knowledge and problem solving is essential to his leadership position.
His commitment to mentoring and developing drillers and leaders in the industry is commendable and highly regarded by his colleagues.
Throughout Brodie’s career in Australia and Papua New Guinea he has developed specialist skills in Navi – drilling and deep holes with leading drilling companies.
